Our 24 step door refinishing procedure
* We arrive at the appointment and replace your door with a temporary door for your convenience.
*We bring your door to our shop for the refinishing process.
* We strip ,sand and repair the door for staining.
* Inspect the door for any additional repairs before stain and finishing process begins.
* Apply a sun block UV Conditioner. A sunscreen for wood.
* Stain door with UV blocking stain.
* Seal all surfaces with Exterior wood sealer double coat .
* Apply 5 to 7 coats of exterior marine grade polyurethane.
* Allow final finish to cure.
* Clean all glass inside and out.
* We return door and re-install it at a convenient appointment time with you.
* Approximate return time is 5 to 7 days.
